AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 94 -10
FISCAL (AUTHORIZING A TRANSFER OFFU DS TO SMOKEY'S CLEANUP, PROJECT #3)
the Kodiak Island Borough has been doing a cleanup of the old junk yard
in Kodiak popularly known as Smokey's; and
it is the intent of the Kodiak Island Borough to completely clean up this
site and use it for
recreational activities, such as ballfields; and
there is still a considerable amount of material on the site, including
waste oil which must be shipped off island; and
it is estimated that an additional $120,000 is needed to complete this
project; and
WHEREAS, this amount of money is available in the Land Sale Fund (210);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT:
Section 1: This ordinance is not of general application and shall not be codified.
Section 2: The fiscal year 1995 budget is hereby amended by transferring
$120,000 to Smokey's Cleanup, Project #3, from the Land Sale Fund
(210). Staff is directed to make all necessary accounting entries to
effect the transfer.
