AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGETS OF WOMEN'S BAY AND
MONASKHA BAY SERVICE DISTRICTS.
WHEREAS, an exceptional amount of snow has fallen on the
Kodiak Island Borough in Fiscal year 1990; and
WHEREAS, this heavy snow was not expected; and
WHEREAS, a sufficient amount of money was not budgeted
for snow removal in the Women's Bay Road Service District and in
Monaskha Bay Road Service District; and
WHEREAS, the Women's Bay Fire District has $20,000 that
it does not need to get through Fiscal Year 1990; and
WHEREAS, the Monashka Bay Road Service District has over
$20,000 in its fund balance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly that:
Section 1. This ordinance is not of a general and
permanent nature and shall not become a part of the Code of
Ordinances.
Section 2. Twenty Thousand Dollars will be transferred
from Women's Bay Fire District to Women's Bay Road District.

Section 3. The expenditure budget for Monashka Bay Road
Service District will be increased by $20,000 and use of Fund
Balance on the Revenue side will be increased by $20,000.
