AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING PASAGSHAK ROAD
SERVICE AREA a

Section 1. Classification. Sectio 3 • this ordinance
is of a general and permanent nature and shall ome a part of the
code of the Kodiak Island Borough. The vein , inder shall not be
codified.
Section 2. Election. As thi are no residents of the
proposed service area, an election ispno required.
Section 3. Ado•tion of Section 4.30.050. Title 4 of the
Kodiak Island Borough Code of Orai ances is amended by adding
Section 4.30.060:
4.30.060 Pasa•s ak oad Service Area. A. There is
established a service ar - ithin the borough designated the
"Pasagshak Road Service Area" as shown on the corresponding map in
the Clerk's Office.
B. The P4§0g - ak Road Service Area shall have road
construction and ma nce powers within its boundaries.
C. The P - agshak Road Service Area Commission shall
consist of five, =rs appointed by the Borough Assembly.
Se•.•�t, 4. Effective date. Sections 1 and 2 shall
become effect at midnight on the day of adoption. Section 3
shall become ffective on the first day of the fiscal year
following adoption.
