AN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH AMENDING
CHAPTER 2.39, BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS,
BY ADDING FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
BE IT ORDAINED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
Section 1. This ordinance is of a general and permanent
nature and shat ecome a part of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of
Ordinances.
Section 2. Chapter 2.39 is amended by adding a new section
2.39.045 Financial Responsibility. No person serving on any
board or commission of the borough shall be appointed to or continue to
serve on any board or commission of the borough, having authority to
influence the making or changing of any laws of the borough in regard
to financial matters, who has not demonstrated financial responsibility.
In this regard delinquent property taxes, nonpayment of duly assessed
charges for services performed and billed by the borough shall be
deemed as financial irresponsibility.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon adoption.
