1987-25 Authorizing the Receipt and Expenditures of Municipal Grants Appropriated by the 1988 LegislatureAN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AUTHORIZING THE
RECEIPT AND EXPENDITURE OF MUNICIPAL GRANTS APPROPRIATED BY THE 1988
LEGISLATURE.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough has been appropriated funds by
the State of Alaska 1988 Legislature in various capital appropriation bills;
and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough administer these grants on their
behalf; and
WHEREAS, the Borough has the authority under State law and local
charter to provide the services for which the funds were appropriated.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, that the Kodiak Island Borough is
hereby authorized to receive and expend municipal grants from the State of
Alaska in the amount of $361,900 for the following three projects:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly that
the Borough Mayor or his designee is hereby authorized to prepare and submit
grant agreements for the above- indicated projects.
