1987-06 To Determine the Disposition of Tax Foreclosure PropertiesWHEREAS, by Alaska Statute 29.45.460, the Assembly of a Borough or
Council of a City, shall determine, by ordinance, whether foreclosed property
deeded to the municipality under AS 29.45.330 shall be retained by the
municipality for a public purpose; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Assembly to hold a public sale and
dispose of such properties that are nc,, retained by the municipality, and
return such properties to the tax rolls.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, that the following properties will be
retained by the Kodiak Island Borough for municipal purposes, unless such
properties are redeemed on or prior to the expiration of the redemption period
of February 7, 1987.

All ordinances or parts of ordinances found to be in conflict with
this ordinance are hereby expressly rescinded.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 5 day of March ,1987 by the Kodiak
Island Borough Assembly.
