AN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY RENAMING UYAK
DRIVE TO SALMONBERRY DRIVE.
WHEREAS, two street names in the Womens Bay Community have names
which are very similar in spelling, namely, Ugak Drive and Uyak Drive, and
WHEREAS, the similarity of the names causes confusion among
travelers, and
WHEREAS, the Women' Bay Service District Advisory Board has requested
that Uyak Drive be changed to Salmonberry Drive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
that the street named Uyak Drive is renamed Salmonberry Drive and the official
zoning map of the Bells Flat - Russian Creek Area shall be changed accordingly.
