AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE STATUS OF EMPLOYEES OF THE KODIAK
MENTAL HEALTH CENTER.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Kodiak Island Borough:
Section 1. Chapter 8.08 of the Code of Ordinances of the Kodiak
Island Borough is amended by the addition of a new section .100, as follows:
8.08.100 Status of Employees.
Employees of the Kodiak Mental Health Center shall be deemed
employees of the borough for all purposes, except that, the
mental health governing center may adopt personnel rules and
regulations with respect to employees of the center. Such
rules and regulations shall be effective upon approval by
the assembly. With respect to matters not covered by such
approved rules and regulations, the Kodiak Island Borough
Code of Personnel Rules and Regulations shall apply to said
employees.
