1981-53 Providing for the Composition, Representation and Apportion of the KIB AssemblyAN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE COMPOSITION, REPRESENTA-
TION AND APPORTIONMENT OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY.
WHEREAS, in accordance with State Statutes, the Kodiak
Island Borough Assembly did submit to its duly qualified residents
and voters of the Kodiak Island Borough at the Regular Election,
held on October 6, 1981, the following question: "Shall the Kodiak
Island Borough continue with its present apportionment of the
Assembly, in that it consists of seven (7) members? All seven (7)
members are elected at- large."
WHEREAS, the above question was passed with 1,227 YES
votes to 279 NO votes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, that the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly apportionment will remain the same as it is now,
in that it consists of seven (7) members, all seven (7) members
being elected at- large.

1981.
