AN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH THAT WILL DELETE THE BILL-
ING OF SMALL DOLLAR TAX ASSESSMENTS.
and printing have increased significantly in recent years, and

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED THAT Section 3.20.040 of the tax
ordinance be changed as follows:

WHEREAS, the administrative costs including postage, paper, wages,
WHEREAS, the Borough mailed out some 170 tax bills this past tax

by the borough assembly as the due date of the first installment
of all taxes in a larger amount.
E. Taxes levied in an amount of less than five dollars will not be
billed. During the process of billing the amounts assessed all
full year tax amounts of less than five dollars total will be
written off as if paid. A full accounting of such write -offs
will be available for public inspection.
