AN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH AMENDING
TITLE 15 OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH CODE PERTAINING TO SANITARY
FACILITIES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
Section 1. Section 15.08 is hereby amended by adding
Section 15.08.040 to Title 15 of the Kodiak Island Boroug • Code,
Section 15.08.040. Sanitation Facilities. Section
1205(b) of the Uniform Building Code (1979 Ed'tion) is
amended by adding the following at the end
"Dwellings erected outside the areas encompassed by Kodiak
Island Borough Official Zoning Maps No,‘ 2 (Kodiak Urban
Area) and No. 3 (Bells Flats and Russian Creek Alaska
Subdivisions) on lands zoned 'C•- ervation' are exempted

BE IT ORDAINED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly that:

Section 15.08.040 Cabins in remote areas. Recreation ve cles and
small skid mounted buildings used for temporary housing shall be exempt from
Chapter 12 of the Uniform Building Code as adopted, only when owner occupied.
