KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
ORDINANCE NUMBER 76 -19 -0
AN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY TO REZONE TO
BUSINESS LOTS 2A AND 3, BLOCK 17, NEW KODIAK SUBDIVISION.
WHEREAS, Alaska Statutes 29.33.090 empowers the Borough to enact a
Zoning Ordinance and provide for enforcement and
amendments, and,
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island
Chapter 17 of its Code of Ordinances and Resolutions
planning and zoning provisions and procedures, and,
WHEREAS, according to the Comprehensive Planning and Zoning Map
adopted by the Kodiak Island Borough Lots 2A and 3, Block 17, New Kodiak
Subdivision have been zoned R -3, and,
WHEREAS, this zoning change was considered and
and Zoning Commission on the 20th day of October,
recommended the reclassification of said property
its administration,
Borough has pursuant thereto adopted
which provides for
KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Borough Assembly of Kodiak Island
Borough that the property described as:
LOTS 2A AND 3, BLOCK 17, NEW KODIAK SUBDIVISION
BE AND THE SAME is hereby reclassified as Business, and that notice
of this ordinance be given by publication in the KODIAK MIRROR seven (7) days
prior to the second reading and public hearing; that the public hearing be
held thereon on the date of the second reading and that this ordinance shall
be in full effect at the time of adoption.
