AN ORDINANCE OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH AMENDING CHAPTER 16.20.030 OF THE BOROUGH CODE
RELATING TO EASEMENTS
*SECTION 1: Chapter 16.20.030 of the Borough Code of
Ordinances is hereby amended to read:
16.20.030 Easements. Easements of at least ten feet in
width shall be provided on each side of rear lot lines and
along side lot lines, or in the public road right of way, where
necessary for poles, wire, conduits, storm and sanitary sewers,
gas, water or other mains.
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be in full effect immediately
upon passage. Notice of second reading and public hearing shall be
published in the Kodiak MIRROR seven days prior to the date of the
public hearing. After the public hearing, the Assembly may pass or
reject the ordinance with or without amendment.
