ORDINANCE NUMBER 76 -7 -0
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO PER DIEM ALLOWANCE FOR BOROUGH
EMPLOYEES AND EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT FOR BOROUGH OFFICIALS.
The Assembly of the Kodiak Island Borough hereby ordains:
*SECTION 1: That Chapter 2.12 of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of
III Ordinances is hereby amended to read:
2.12.140 Official Travel. Employees of the Borough, while traveling
on official business and away from their homes or designated posts of duty, may
be allowed, instead of their actual expenses for subsistence and all fee or tips, a
per diem allowance of seventy -five dollars.
' *SECTION 2: That Chapter 2.16.040 of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of
Ordinances is hereby amended and a section added to read:
2.16.040 Expense reimbursement. Assembly members , while traveling
on official business off the Island and away from their homes or designated posts
I C I of duty, may be allowed, instead of their actual expenses for subsistence and
all fees or tips, a per diem allowance of seventy -five dollars.
*SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force after adoption. A public
hearing shall be held at the second reading, notice of which shall be published
in the Kodiak MIRROR, not less than seven days prior to the hearing.
The ordinance may be adopted with or without amendments.
