AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1975/76 BUDGET ORDINANCE BY
ADDING ACCOUNT 146.17 REPAIR AND DEMOLITION OF DANGEROUS
BUILDINGS AND TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM ACCOUNT 144.01 TO THAT
ACCOUNT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY THAT:
Section 1. WHEREAS, the Assembly adopted the Uniform Code for
Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, and
Whereas, Chapter 8 of that Code calls for the establishment'
of a Repair and Demolition Fund, Borough may at any time
transfer money in the General Fund to this account. Such money
shall be considered a loan to the Repair and Demolition Fund
and shall be repaid out of the proceed of the collections
hereinafter provided for. All funds collected under the
proceedings provided for, shall be paid to the Borough Clerk,
Treasurer who shall credit same to the Repair and Demolition Fund.
Section 2. Ordinance No. 75 -19 -0 is amended to add:
Account 146.17 Repair and Demolition $500.00
Account 144.01 is decreased by ($500.00)
Thus no change in the overall budget is made.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full effect upon passage
and approval as provided by law.
