1975-15 Establishing the Appointment of the Municipal Clerk, Attorney, and Treasurer by the Assembly1
WHEREAS, Alaska Statutes 29.23.360 provides for the
appointment of certain officers by either the chief administrator
or by the assembly as determined by ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the Assembly has determined that certain positions'
should be by Assembly appointment,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED THAT,
Title 2, Chapter 12, Section .010 is hereby amended by
adding: Additional Paragraph to read:
" The positions of Municipal Clerk, Attorney, Treasurer
shall be by appointment of the Borough Assembly. The
officers shall serve at the pleasure of the appointing
authority. "
This Ordinance shall be in full effect on the date of
passage and approve by the Borough Assembly.
