! REZONING TRACT "A ", U. S. SURVEY 1672, FROM CONSERVATION TO
UNCLASSIFIED.

Ii WHEREAS, ALASKA STATUTES 29.33.090 empowers the Borough to
li enact a Zoning Ordinance and provide for its administration, enforcement and
I
I amendments, and
I ,
jj WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough has pursuant thereto adopted
Ii
I Chapter 5, of its Code of Ordinances and Resolutions which provides for
% I I planning and zoning provisions and procedures, and

I I WHEREAS, according to the Comprehensive Planning and Zoning Map
i t adopted by the Kodiak Island Borough, Tract "A", of U. S. Survey 1672 has
, been zoned Conservation, and

WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Mrs. Laura M. Olsen
I ; I ! requesting the same to be rezoned from Conservation to Unclassified for

future sale, and
I 1 I WHEREAS, the Petition was considered and approved by the Planning

1 public of April, 1975, after a p hearing and Zoning Commission on the 23rd day
ji
was held thereon and said body has recommended the reclassification of said
'j ro erty to change its boundaries to include Tract "A" in the Unclassified

I District now presently
located on a Portion of U. S. Survey 1672, and no objections
II were voiced at the public hearing; it having been determined that the public
I necessity, convenience, and good zoning practice require reclassification,
I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Borough Assembly of the

Kodiak Island Borough that the property descrit5ed as:
Tract "A", U. S. Survey 1672
Be and the same are hereby reclassified as Unclassified and that notice of
this ordinance be given by publication in the KODIAK MIRROR seven (7) days
prior to the second reading and that public hearing be held thereon on the date

of the second reading and that this Ordinance become effective at the time of
adoption.
