ORDINANCE NUMBER 75 -9 -EO
AN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
AMENDING CHAPTER 2, SECTION 3, OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
CODE OF ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS.
WHEREAS, in the course of Borough business it appears that
the Presiding Officer may not be avialble at all times and in order to assure
that the operations of the Borough shall continue in an orderly fashion.
The Kodiak Island Borough hereby ordains that Section 3, of
Chapter 2, of the Borough Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to read:
EXECUTION OF NEGOTIABLE INSTRUMENTS The Presiding
Officer, Deputy Presiding Officer, Mayor and Clerk- Treasurer
of the Borough are authorized and empowered to sign checks
upon the Borough checking account; and to sign, enforce,
accept make, execute and deliver checks, notes, drafts,
acceptances and /or bill of exchange for deposit, discount,
rediscount, or any other purpose, and to do all lawful acts
requisite for effecting these premises, all checks on the bank
account of the Borough to become countersigned by any two (2)
such persons.
