AN ORDINANCE OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH AMENDING
CHAPTER 4 OF THE BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS
BY ADDING THERETO SECTION 20 PROHIBITING THE SALE OF
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WITHIN THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH BETWEEN
CERTAIN HOURS ON ELECTION DAY
BE IT ORDAINED that Chapter 4 of the KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS BE AMENDED
BY ADDING THERETO SECTION 20 TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
"SECTION 20. Sales of Alcoholic Beverages on Election
Dom.
It is unlawful to give, barter, sell or in any
licensed premises to dispose of any intoxicating
liquor in the Kodiak Island Borough on a day on
which an election is being held in the Kodiak Island
Borough for the purpose of voting for a candidate for
public office during the hours between 8:00 A.M. and
8:00 P.M., at which time the polls are closed."
