ORDINANCE NUMBER 69 -31 -0
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE 1969 -1970 BUDGET FOR KODIAK
ISLAND BOROUGH WATER DISTRICT NUMBER ONE, APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR
THE EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES THEREFORE AND LEVYING A USER - CHARGE TO
DEFRAY EXPENSES.
BE IT ORDAINED, by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
of the Kodiak Island Borough, State of Alaska, as follows:
Section One: That the following sums of money, or as
much thereof as may be authorized by law, as may be needed or
deemed necessary to defray all expenses and liabilities of Kodiak
Island Borough Water District No. One, be and the same is hereby
appropriated for the purposes and objects of said Borough herein-
after specified for the fiscal year ending the 30th day of June, 19'.0

Section Two - Charge: A charge for the above sum of
money, or as much thereof as may be authorized by law, to defray
all expenses and liabilities of the Kodiak Island Borough Water
District No. 1 and the same is hereby levied for the purposes
herein mentioned against all properties connected to the water line
within the boundaries of the Kodiak Island Borough Water District
No. 1 for the Fiscal year ending June 30, 1970.
B. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval as required by law.
Section Three - Statement: The Assessor shall prepare
and mail statements to the persons listed as owners of property
within the boundaries of the Kodiak Island Borough Water District
No. One.
This levy shall continue the monthly charge of
$6.45 per month for each hookup for the remaining eight (8) months
of the fiscal year, which charge shall be in addition to any monthly]
ater charge collected by the City for the cost of the water and
he Kodiak Island Borough charges and responsibility is hereby lim-
