AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 4 OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS BY CHANGING THE TIME
REQUIRED FOR NOTICE TO BE GIVEN BEFORE AN ELECTION; PROVIDING FOR
SEPARATE BALLOTS

Section 1. Chapter 4, Section 1 of the Kodiak Island
Borough Code of Ordinances is hereby repealed and re- enacted to
read as follows:
"Section 1. Notice of Borou•h Election: The

Section 2. Chapter 4, Section 9 of the Kodiak island
Borough Code of Ordinances and Resolutions is hereby repealed and
re- enacted to read as follows:

Section 3. Chapter 4, Section 18 of the Kodiak Island
Borough Code of Ordinances and Resolutions is hereby repealed and
re- enacted to read as follows:

"Section 18. Nominations: Candidates for
assemblymen outside the City of Kodiak shall
be nominated by Petition of ten (10) qualified
voters of the Kodiak Island Borough who are
residents outside the City. Candidates for
Borough School Board shall be nominated by
petition of ten (10) qualified voters of the
Kodiak Island Borough.
All nominating petitions for Borough Assembly
members and Borough School Board members shall
be filed in the Bola ugh Office for acceptance at
least 'him' ( ;) days before the date set
for the election. ";'
