Special Assembly Meeting
November 19, 2002
A special meeting of the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
was held November 19, 2002 in the Kodiak Island Borough
Conference Room at 710 Mill Bay Road. The meeting was
called to order at 6:43 p.m.
There were present:
comprising a quorum of the Assembly; and
Pat Carlson, Borough Manager
Judi Nielsen, Borough Clerk
Laura Casey, Assistant Clerk
CONSIDERATION OF MATTER FOR THE SPECIAL MEETING
A. Contract No. 95 -47C Amending Contract No. 95 -47
Collective Bargaining Agreement with the IBEW Union.
RAZO, moved to approve
seconded by BRANSON Contract No. 95 -47C
Manager Carlson said this entailed a long negotiation
process and if approved, the contract would also impact
non -union staff members.
Assemblymember Heinrichs said there should be no
amendments or it would appear that the Assembly was still
negotiating.
Assemblymember Bonney appreciated Manager Carlson's
efforts with the contract.
