10/10/2002 SMA regular meeting of the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
was held October 10, 2002 in the Kodiak Island Borough
Conference Room at 710 Mill Bay Road. The meeting was
called to order at 8:44 p.m.

A. RESOLUTIONS RESOLUTIONS
1. Resolution No. 2002 -28 Requesting Support of Resolution
Proposition C - GO Bonds.

BRANSON, moved to adopt
seconded by RAZO Resolution No. 2002 -28
Manager Carlson said the General Obligation Bonds would
allow for improvements at a local level.

encouraged the voters of Kodiak to pass the proposition.
In response to Assemblymember Stevens, Betty Walters,
Superintendent, said they would be promoting the
information with ads in the newspaper and she had extra
copies of the proposition in her office.
Assemblymember Branson received information in the mail
explaining the bond issues very well.
Assemblymember Stevens would like to make sure the
information gets to every voter.
VOTE ON MOTION TO ADOPT
Ayes: Bonney, Branson, Razo,
Stevens, Turner
Noes: None
Absent: Abell, Heinrichs
MOTION CARRIED: Unanimous
