08/08/2002 SMA special meeting of the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
was held August 8, 2002 in the Kodiak Island Borough
Conference Room at 710 Mill Bay Road. The meeting was
called to order at 10:20 p.m.

MOTION CARRIED Unanimous
At 10:22 p.m., Mayor LeDoux recessed the special meeting
into executive session and invited Manager Carlson, Walt
Ebell, Borough Attorney, Duane Dvorak, Community
Development Director, and the clerk's office staff to
attend.
At 11:12 p.m., Mayor LeDoux reconvened the special meeting
and announced that no action would be taken as a result of
the executive session.
Mayor LeDoux announced that Borough attorney, Walt Ebell
was directed by the Assembly to write a letter to the
Womens Bay Community Council's counsel. She informed the
public that there would not be an appeal before the
Assembly. She noted that the Womens Bay Community Council
may want to seek further direction from their counsel.
She said the Borough code was in dire need of review.
There being no further business to come before the ADJOURNMENT
Assembly, the meeting adjourned at 11:15 p.m.
