07/02/2002 SMA special meeting of the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
was held July 2, 2002 in the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly chambers conference room at 710 Mill Bay Road.
The meeting was called to order at 8:13 p.m.
There were present: ROLL CALL
comprising a quorum of the Assembly; and
CONSIDERATION OF MATTERS FOR THE SPECIAL MEETING

A. Borough Clerk's Performance Evaluation. BOROUGH CLERK'S
PERFORMANCE
TURNER, moved to convene into EVALUATION
seconded by BONNEY executive session for the
Borough Clerk's performance
evaluation.

In response to Mayor LeDoux, Clerk Nielsen said the
Assembly would determine the individuals who would join
them in executive session.
Mayor LeDoux said the Clerk was an employee of the
Assembly and she would turn the meeting over to Deputy
Mayor Heinrichs if that was the pleasure of the Assembly.
There was consensus to excuse Mayor LeDoux and Manager
Carlson from the executive session.
At 8:14 p.m., Mayor LeDoux passed the gavel to Deputy
Mayor Heinrichs and she and Manager Carlson left.

Deputy Mayor Heinrichs recessed the special meeting and
convened the Assembly into executive session.
At 8:43 p.m., Deputy Mayor Heinrichs reconvened the
special meeting and announced that no decisions were made.
The Assembly conducted an evaluation of the Borough Clerk
and an evaluation report would be prepared.
There being no further business to come before the ADJOURNMENT
Assembly, the meeting adjourned at 10:12 p.m.
