08/31/1999 SMA special meeting of the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly was held August 31, 1999 in the Assembly
Chambers of the Kodiak Island Borough Building,
710 Mill Bay Road. The meeting was called to order
at 9:15 p.m.
There were present: ROLL CALL

executive session to
discuss the manager hire.

VOTE ON MOTION
MOTION CARRIED Unanimous voice vote
Mayor Stevens recessed the work session at 9:00 p.m.
and invited the Borough clerk to join the Assembly in
executive session.
At 10:15 p.m. Mayor Stevens reconvened the special
meeting and announced that no action was taken as a
result of the executive session.
Mayor Stevens reminded the Assembly of the planned
visit to the landfill and Thresholds Recycling on
Thursday, September 2.
There being no further business to come before the
Assembly, the meeting adjourned at 10:17 p.m.
