A special meeting of the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly was held November 21, 2000 in the Borough
conference room of the Kodiak Island Borough
Building, 710 Mill Bay Road. The meeting was called
to order at 7:30 p.m.
There were present: ROLL CALL
Assemblymembers:
Tom Abell Greg Razo
Pat Branson Darlene Turner
Robin Heinrichs
Wayne Stevens (arrived at 8:55 p.m.)
comprising a quorum of the Assembly; and
moved to excuse

MOTION CARRIED Unanimous
Mayor Stevens recessed the special meeting into
executive session and invited Manager Jensen and
Clerk Nielsen to join the executive session.
He invited attorney Walt Ebell to join the executive
session for discussion on Pending Litigation with A -K
Construction only.
1. Pending Litigation with A -K Construction.
At 8:55 p.m. Mayor Stevens recessed the executive
session and excused Mr. Ebell. After a five minutes
recess, Mayor Stevens reconvened the executive
session.
2. Collective Bargaining Agreement.
At 9:25 p.m. Mayor Stevens recessed the executive
session and excused Assemblymember Razo. After a
five minute recess, Mayor Stevens reconvened the
executive session.
3. Pending Litigation on Jane Doe vs. The Kodiak
Island Borough.
At 9:43 Mayor Stevens reconvened the special meeting
and announced that no action would be taken as a
result of the executive session.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the
Assembly, the meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
