Stevens Assemblymembers: Tom Abell Tuck Bonney Pat Branson BRANSON, seconded by BONNEY VOTE ON MOTION TO EXCUSE TURNER, seconded by BRANSON VOTE ON MOTION TO APPROVE Special Assembly Meeting August 19, 2000 KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH Special Assembly Meeting August 19, 2000 A special meeting of the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly was held August 19, 2000 in the Conference Room of the Kodiak Island Borough Building, 710 Mill Bay Road. The meeting was called to order at 12:30 p.m. There were present: ROLL CALL Robin Heinrichs Greg Spalinger Darlene Turner Absent: Scott Arndt comprising a quorum of the Assembly; and Judi Nielsen, Borough Clerk Assemblymember Arndt was unable to attend and asked to be excused. moved to excuse Assemblymember Arndt. MOTION CARRIED Unanimous voice vote moved to approve the agenda. MOTION CARRIED Unanimous voice vote SPECIAL MEETING A. Ordinance No. 2000 -11 Authorizing the Issuance ORDINANCE of General Obligation Bonds in the Principal NO. 2000 -11 Amount of Not to Exceed $2,660,000 to Finance the Acquisition and Construction of School and Related Capital Improvements in the Borough, and to Submit the Question of the Issuance of Such Bonds to the Qualified Voters of the Borough at the October 3, 2000 Election. Volume XXVI Page 128 The motion to adopt Ordinance No. 2000 -11 as amended by substitution was before the Assembly. Mayor Stevens read Ordinance No. 2000 -11 by title. He explained that the roll call vote on the motion to adopt the ordinance at the August 17, 2000 meeting was not taken, and this meeting was specifically to continue discussion and take the roll call vote. There was no discussion by the Assembly.
