A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 96 -30
TO REFLECT THE ELECTION OF THE WRITE -IN CANDIDATES
IN SERVICE DISTRICTS AT THE MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD OCTOBER 1, 1996
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough held a Regular Election on October 1, 1996,
at which time candidates for the following offices to be filled were voted on:
Bay View Road Service Area - One (1) three -year term
Monashka Bay Road Service Area - One (1) three -year term
WHEREAS, the following offices to be filled received write -in votes only:
BAY VIFW ROAD SERVICE ARFA - One (1) three -year term
MONASHKA BAY ROADS RVI _ AR A - One (1) three -year term
WHEREAS, the winner of each was determined by a drawing of the names;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH THAT:
Section 1: The Assembly finds that the Municipal Election of October 1, 1996, was
validly held and hereby ratifies and certifies the results of the election.
Section 2: In the Bay View Road Service Area, Braxton Drew was elected to a
three -year term.
