A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AUTHORIZING AN
INCREASE IN THE ARCHITECTURAL FEES BY SUNDBERG AND ASSOCIATES, INC. AND DYKEMAN,
OGDEN, ALDRIDGE & QUINTON FOR THE JUNIOR HIGH REMODEL.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly has caused the Mill Bay
'Complex Master Plan to be completed in order to aid in decisions regarding
'!the school construction program, and
WHEREAS, the criteria contained in the Mill Bay Master Plan which was
used during negotiations with the various A &E firms did not reflect the total
requirements in regards to space or constructions costs, and
WHEREAS, the Assembly did award a contract to Sundberg and Associates,
Inc. and Dykeman, Ogden, Aldridge & Quinton for a lump sum amount of $313,000.00
1 dated July 29, 1982 for the Junior High remodel project, and
WHEREAS, Sundberg and Associates, Inc. and Dykeman, Ogden, Aldridge &
Quinton have advised the Borough that information provided by the Borough has
resulted in a claim for additional fees, and
WHEREAS, staff has negotiated an increase to the A &E contract with
Sundberg and Associates, Inc. and Dykeman, Ogden, Aldridge & Quinton in the
amount of $38,393.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
hereby authorizes the manager to increase the contract amount with Sundberg and
Associates, Inc. and Dykeman, Ogden, Aldridge & Quinton for the Junior High
School remodeling project in an amount not to exceed $38,393.00.
