1983-127 To Effect Certain Budget Changes Between The School Capital Projects Fund And The School Debt Service Fund.A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY TO EFFECT CERTAIN
BUDGET CHANGES BETWEEN THE SCHOOL CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND AND THE SCHOOL DEBT
SERVICE FUND.
WHEREAS, the Assembly of the Kodiak Island Borough has appropriated
certain fixed sums of money to complete specific school capital projects, and
WHEREAS, prior to the funding of the Junior High School renovation
project, by a $7.4 million bond issue on June 1, 1983, the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly authorized and directed staff to move $3,000,000 from the
General Fund fund balance for this interim purpose, and
WHEREAS, now the projects of this fund have been fully funded, and
WHEREAS, there remains the need for monies in the debt service fund
to meet obligations as they mature.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that staff is hereby authorized and
directed to effect the following fund level changes:

School Debt Service 5,065,000 3,000,000 8,065,000
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that staff is authorized and directed to
effect the necessary line item changes within the limits established above by
project to properly monitor, account and report on the expenditures of these
funds.
All resolutions or parts of resolutions found to be in conflict with
this resolution are hereby explicitly rescinded.
