PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 6th DAY OF Uctober , 1983.
WHEREAS, THE Kodiak Island Borough Assembly provided for Special
Land Use Permits for those instances where private residences are located on
Borough land when it adopted Ordinance No. 83- 49 -0(A) on August 4, 1983; and
WHEREAS, David L. Blair submitted an application for a Special
Land Use Permit on September 20, 1983; and
WHEREAS, a single family residence is present on the property
involved which may be subdivided by the Borough for a future land sale;
WHEREAS, the single - family residence is located in the road right -
of -way of Gara Drive Extension, which is part of a subdivision with final
approval; and
WHEREAS, efforts are being pursued to have Gara Drive Extension
constructed.
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AUTHORIZING THE
ISSUANCE OF A SPECIAL LAND USE PERMIT.

RESOLUTION NO. 83 -123 -R
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Borough Assembly that it
authorizes the issuance of a Special Land Use Permit to David L. Blair for
his residence located on Borough land in Section 2, Township 29 South,
Range 21 West, Seward Meridian, at the end of Gara Drive, Russian Creek
Alaska Subdivision. This special land use permit will expire with notice 60
days prior to the start of road construction in the Gara Drive Extension
road right -of -way.
