1968-33 Amending Resolution 68-05-R Amount Of PILOT From City Of Kodiak On 1967 Personal Property.BOROUGH: KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH RESOLUTION NUMBER 68 -33 - R A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND WHEREAS, Section 07.15.320, Alaska Statutes, provides that a Home Rule City shall have the same power to grant exemptions or exclude property from Borough taxes that it has as to City taxes, provided, that the exemptions or exclusions have been adopte as to the City taxes and further provided that the City appropriate to the Borough sufficient monies to equal revenues lost by the Borough because of the exemptions or exclusions, the amount to be determined annually by the Assembly without weighted voting, and, WHEREAS, the Borough Assembly by Resolution No. 68 -5 -R determined the amount of revenues lost by the Borough because of the exemptions or exclusions of the City and WHEREAS, the following personal property adjustments for 1967 have been made: Adj. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly that Resolution 68 -5 -R be and the same is hereby amended to reflect that the tota alue of the personal property in the City subjuct to taxation for the tax year 967 was THIRTEEN MXLLICN ONE HUNDRED FIFTY-CNE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE No /100ths ($13, 151,625.00) DOLLARS, and that the amount due the Kodiak Island rough in lieu of collections of personal property tax on said property at. the Irate ate of 3.32 mills for the 1967 tax year is FORTY -THREE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED S '111EE and 38 /100ths ($43,663.38) DOLLARS.
