A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK
ISLAND BOROUGH VACATING THE PLAT OF THE RESUBDIVISION OF LOTS
THREE (3), SEVENTEEN (17) AND EIGHTEEN ( BLOCK ONE (1) LEITE
ADDITION, DATED NOVEMBER 9, 1961, PREPARED BY HUGH B. TYLER, REGIS
TERED LAND SURVEYOR AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON NOVEMBER
21, 1 961, AND APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF THE AMENDED PLAT OF THE
RESUBDIVISION OF LOTS THREE (3), SEVENTEEN (17) AND EIGHTEEN (18)
BLOCK ONE (1) LEITE ADDITION
WHEREAS, LITA ECKLUND, WILLIS BENSON SR., DONALD
FOSTER and ERA CROW have petitioned the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly and the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning Commis-
sion for the vacation of the Plat of the Resubdivision of Lots
Three (3), Seventeen (17) and Eighteen (18) Block One (1) Leite
Addition which plat was prepared by HUGH B. TYLER, Registered Land
1 Surveyor dated November 9, 1961, and approved by the Kodiak City
Council on November 21, 1961, and for approval of their final plat

(17) and Eighteen (18), Block One (1) Leite Addition which plat

WHEREAS, all persons interested were notified that a i
public hearing would be held on said Petition on Wednesday, the
10th day of April, 1968, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. before the Kodiak
Island Borough Planning and Zoning Commission which public hearing!
it was duly noticed and held, a copy of the affidavit of publication !
having been filed herein and at which hearing the Planning and I

and the final plat of the amended plat of the Resubdivision of
Lots Three (3), Seventeen (171 and Eighteen (18) Block One (1)
Leite Addition which shows the exterior boundaries of the Resub-
divided Lots and conveys the original intent of the property
owners be approved, and the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly being
fully advised in the premises
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the plat of the
Resubdivision of Lots Three (3), Seventeen (17) and Eighteen (18)
Block One (1) Leite Addition prepared by Hugh B. Tyler, Registered
Land Surveyor dated November 9, 1961, and approved by the Kodiak
City Council November 21, 1961, be and the same is hereby vacated
and the final plat of the amended plat of the Resubdivision of
Lots Three (3), Seventeen (17) and Eighteen (18) Block One (1)
Leite Addition presented by LITA ECKLUND, WILLIS BENSON SR.,
DONALD FOSTER and ERA CROW, which amended plat shows the exterior
boundaries of the resubdivided Lots Three (3), Seventeen (17) and
Eighteen (18) Block One (1) Leite Addition and conveys the origina
intent of the property owners be and the same is hereby approved
and that the Kodiak Island Borough accept all streets, alleys,
easements and other open spaces dedicated to public purposes as
set forth in said amended plat and that a copy of this Resolution
be filed with the Kodiak District Recorder together with the
amended plat in accordance with Sections 40.15.140 through
40.15.180 Alaska Statutes.
