1968-17 Authorizing Application For ACS Laundry Buildings.el �► to . , certain real property owned by the Unitas States, consisting
of two (2) fanner laundry buildings, each 12' by 24', located in 55 -unit
trailer park in the Kodak Island Borough, Third Judicial District, State
of Alaska, has been declared surplus and is subject to disposal for educa-
tional purposes by the Stay of Health, Education:, and Welfare, under
the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949, as amended,
and rules and regulations prulgated pursuant thereto, and
WHEREAS, , the Kodiak Island Borough needs said property and can
utilize the same for motional purposes in accordance with the requirements
of said Act and the rules and regulations pramulgated thereunder;
NU4, CIE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island 84raugh shall
neke application to the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare for and
secure the transfer to it of the aboveesantioned property far educational use
upon and subject be such exceptions, reservations, tee, giants, agree-
wants, nts, condi.tiozs, and restrictions as the Secretary of Health, Educatim,
and Welfare, or his authorized representatives, may require in connectic3n
with tlx: disposal of said property under said Act and the rules and regala--
ti ons issued pursuant thereto; and
BE IT FURDIERRESCLYED that G. S. Best, the Chairman of the Rodiak
Island Borough, be and he is hereby authorized, for and on behalf of the
KGDIAK ISLAND BOROUGH, to do and perform any and all acts and things which
may be necessary to carry out the drag resolution; including the
preparing, makin1, and filing of playa, applications, reports, and other
documents, including representations and ocausitmaents regarding use and time
within which such use shall commence; the execution, accevtance, delivery,
and recordation of agreements, deeds, and other instrudeelts pertaining to
the transfer of said property; and the payment of any and all sums necessary
an aunt of the purchase price thereof or on account of fees or costs incurred
in connection with the transfer of said property for surveys, title searches,
