RESOLUTION NUMBER 68 -13 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK
ISLAND BOROUGH PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 5, SUB - CHAPTER 4, SECTION 6 OF
THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS
WHEREAS, Chapter 5, Sub Chapter 4, Section 6 of the
Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances and Resolutions provides
that a final plat shall be approved by the Borough Assembly by
resolution, which resolution shall provide for the acceptance of
all streets, alleys, easements, or other open spaces dedicated to
public purposes, and
WHEREAS, FRED C. BRECHAN and DAVID BEAN have presented
for approval their final plat of the vacation of Lots Eleven A
(11A), Eleven B (11B), Ten (10), Block Three (3), Kodiak Townsite,
U.S. Survey No. 2537 B and Replat of Lots Eleven (11), Ten A (10A)
Block Three (3) Kodiak Townsite, U.S. Survey 2537 B, which plat was
prepared by G.S. BEST, Registered Land Surveyor, a public hearing
was noticed and held by the Planning and Zoning Commission onthe
27th day of March, 1968.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly grant approval to the final plat presented by
FRED C. BRECHAN and DAVID BEAN vacating Lots Eleven A (11A), Eleven
IB (11B) and Ten (10) Block Three (3), Kodiak Townsite U.S. Survey
No. 2537 B, and replating the same as Lots Eleven (11) and Ten A
(10A), Block Three (3), Kodiak Townsite, U.S. Survey No. 2537 B
and that the Kodiak Island Borough accept all streets, alleys,
easements and other open spaces dedicated to public purposes as se
forth in said plat.
