1968-12 Setting Date For Board Of Equalization For May 10, 1968.WHEREAS, Chapter 3, Subchapter 1 of the Kodiak Island
Borough Code of Ordinances and Resolutions provides for the
assessment, levy and collection of taxes in the Kodiak Island
Borough and for equalization hearings after notice that the assess-
ment roll has been completed and
WHEREAS, the Borough Assessor has notified the Kodiak
Island Borough Assembly that he has completed the 1968 tax roll
and is in the process of mailing his assessment notices and is
prepared to publish his notice that the assessment roll has been
completed and in such notice must state when and where the equal-
ization hearings will be held,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of
Equalization of the Kodiak Island Borough shall assemble and meet

for the purpose of equalization hearings on Friday, the 10th day
of May, 1968, at 7 :30 p.m. in the District Courtroom, Donnelley ff
Building, Kodiak, Alaska, with Monday, May 13, 1968, at 7:30 p.m.
as an alternate date in the event that more than one (1) day is
needed to complete the hearings of the Board of Equalization, and
that the Assessor shall cause notice that the assessment rolls have
been completed to be published in the Kodiak Mirror, a newspaper
of general circulation published in the Kodiak Island Borough, at
least once each week for two (2) successive weeks stating that the
assessment rolls have been completed and stating when and where th
Equalization Hearings will be held.
