1968-06 Vacating Blocks 4 And 5 And Replating The Same As Blocks 4, 5, 6, And 15, Port Lions, Alaska Subdivision.Five Four (4), resolution be ISLAND BOROUGH RESOLITIONLOFKTHFOUR ROUGH ASSEi=:BLy OF THE KODIAK THE SAME AS BLOCKS FOUR (4), FIVE (, AND FIVE (5) AND SIX (6) AND FIFTEEN (15) NE ( PORT LIONS, ALASKA SUBDIVISION. 5), I NG 1 WHEREAS, THE CITY OF PORT LIONS AND 4iAKEFIELD FISHERIES ( have petitioned the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly and the Kodiak Island Planning and Zoning Commission for the vacation of a of the plat of Port Lions more particul portion arly Blocks Four (4) and Five (5) and replatting of the same as Block Four (4), Five (5), Six (6) and Fifteen (15), Port Lions Alaska Subdivision, and WHEREAS, all persons interested were notified that a public hearing would be held on said petition on Wednesday, the 7thi day of February, 1968, at 7 :30 o'clock before the Kodiak Island :' Borough Planning and Zoning Commission :rich public hearing was ,duly noticed and held, a copy of the affidavit of publication on having IIbeen filed herein and at which hearing the Planning and Zoning fCo mission recommended that the above described portion of the plat: i lof Port Lions, more particularly Blocks Four (4 ) and _) b Five (vacated and replatted as Blocks Four (4), Five (5), Six (6) and Fifteen (15), Port Lions, Alaska Subdivision, and the Kodiak Island' Borough being fully advised in the premises, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that that portion of the Subdivision of Port Lions more particularly Blocks Four (4) and (5) be and the same is hereby Five (5), filed Page One, RESOLUTION NO. 68 -6 -R KODAK ISLAND BOROUGH RESOLUTION NUMBER 68 -6 -R vacated Six (6) and Fifteen (15) with the Kodiak District to be attached to said and and that Recorder plat indicating the portion replatted as Blocks a copy for notation above described of thi have been vacated and replatted in accordance with Sections 40.1.5.'4: 1 through 40.15.180, Alaska Statutes. i WHEREAS, Chapter 5, Sub Chapter 4, Section 6 of the Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances and Resolutions rrovides that a final plat shall be approved by the Borough Assembly by resolution, which resolution shall provide for acceptance of all streets, alleys, easements, or other open spaces dedicated to public purposes, and WHEREAS, WAKEFIELD FISHERIES, has presented for approval its final plat of the replat of Blocks Four (4), Five (5), Six (6) and Fifteen (15), Port Lions, Alaska Subdivision and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the Kodiak Island Borough approved this final plat on February 7, 1968. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly P. grant approval to the final plat presented by 'WAKEFIELD FISHERIES entitled Replat Blocks Four (4), Five (5) , )Six (6) and Fifteen (15), Port Lions, Alaska Subdivision and that ;the Kodiak Island Borough accept all streets, alleys, easements and other open spaces dedicated to public purposes as set forth in said plat.
