DEPARTMENT OF WISING ANO UUA$ DEVELOPN Eiif
MKpEREA$, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Seve lopment
has agreed to wake a payment In lieu of taxes equal to reel
estate taxes that would otherwise be levied an the properties
for the year 1966, now awned by the Government, In the Aleutian
Homes, Inc., subdivision of the east addition. Kodiak. Alaska; and
MINUS. said Secretary has accordingly submitted an
Agreement which has been duly read in open meeting. fully con-
sidered in accordance with all pertinent rules of procedure and
legal requirements, and mods a part of the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly's records; and
WHEREAS, it 1s deemed advisable that said Agreement be
accepted;
NOM, THEREFORE. be it resolved by the Kodiak island Borough
Assembly that the said Agreement, a true and correct copy of which
Is hereto attached, be and the same hereby is accepted without
reservation or qualification. and the proper officials of the
Assembly are authorised we execute documents evidencing such
acceptance and take such further action as is necessary to provide
the Prefect.
