RESOLUTION NUMBER 66 -32 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH, AUTHORIZING THE SALE TO THE STATE OF ALASKA OF CERTAIN
PARCELS OF LAND IN THE MILLER POINT ALASKA SUBDIVISION, AND
RATIFYING THE EXECUTION OF THE WARRANTY DEEDS BY THE BOROUGH
CHAIRMAN AND CLERK.
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska, Department of Highways, has
successfully negotiated with the following purchasers of Kodiak
Island Borough selected land in the Miller Point Alaska Subdivision,
for right of way of the proposed Mill Bay Road to Pillar Creek
Road.

WHEREAS, the above parcels constitute an estate in fee - simple
of the Kodiak Island Borough and,
WHEREAS, all monies paid by the State will be applied on
contract balances due the Kodiak Island Borough,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Borough Assembly of the
Kodiak Island Borough that the sale to the State of the above
parcels of land be authorized.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Borough Chairman
and Clerk be authorized to issue warranty deeds for said parcels,
it being understood that the State has previously acquired all
other interests in said parcels.
