1966-29 - Assessment and Levy of Taxes Upon Real and Personal PropertyWHEREAS, KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ORDINANCE NO. 64 -6, which is an
Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 64 -2, providing for the assessment and levy
of taxes upon real and personal property within the Boroughs corporate
limits provided that the first half of the taxes thus levied shall be due on
the fifteenth day of August in the year in which the taxes are levied and the
second half of the taxes thus levied shall be due on the fifteenth day of
Octotrer in the year in which the taxes are levied, but provides no delin-
quency date and
WHEREAS, the KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY is now desirous of
providing for a delinquency date of such taxes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the first half of the taxes
levied by the KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH shall be delinquent on the sixteenth day of
September in the year in which the taxes are levied and the second half of
the taxes thus levied shall be delinquent on the first day of November in
the year in which the taxes are levied.
