A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK
ISLAND BOROUGH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A QUITCLAIM DEED AND
TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION PERMIT TO THE STATE OF ALASKA.
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska by and through its Depart-.
ment of Highways has requested conveyance of 907 square feet of
the area contained within U.S. Survey No. 159 Kodiak School
;property, and a temporary construction permit also located on
school property is necessary for the construction of Highway Projec

and,
WHEREAS, the KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH SCHOOL BOARD has
concurred in the request of the Department of Highways, and,
WHEREAS, the patent to said property contains a provis,
ion whereby any of U.S. Survey No. 159 be required for road,
j purposes that a reservation is contained in the patent for such us3
, and,
WHEREAS, the KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH has established
a tonal procedure for the disposition of real property owned by
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly authorize the execution of a Quitclaim Deed to
that portion of U.S. Survey No. 159 situate in the Kodiak Recordr
ing Precinct, Third Judicial District, State of Alaska, more par-
ticularly described as follows:
Beginning at the most Northerly Corner of
U.S. Survey No. 1594; thence S. 0° 03' W.
along the line, to said U.S. Survey No. 1594
and U.S. Survey No. 562 (Erskine Subdivision)
30.40'; 34" W. along curve that S
left
having a radius of 788.51'; through an angle
of 4° 56' 44", for a distance of 68.06' to
the intersection thereof with the Ns
line of said U.S. Survey No. 1594; , orthwe
46° 30' E. along last said line 85.32' more or
less to the point of beginning, containing
907 square feet, more or less.

said U.S. Survey No. 1594; thence from a
tangent which bears S. 67° 39' 07" W. along
a curve to the left (radius equals 781.01';)
through an angle of 8 39' 07" for a distance
of 117.94'; thence along a curve to the left
(radius equals 34.50';) through an angle of
67 04' 49" for a distance of 40.39'; thence
along a curve to the left (radius equals 153.
through an angle of 10 18' 18" for a distance
of 27.61'; containing 2,789 square feet, more
or less, excluding therefrom all that portion
