1966-10 Approval Of Vacation And Replat Of New Kodiak Subdivision, Block 41 1 '1 1 I i 1 7 7 KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH RESOLUTION NUMBER 66- -10 - -R A resolution of the BOROUGH ASSEMBLY of the KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH, pursuant to Section 40.15.170, Alaska Statutes,And Section Seven of Ordinance No. 64 -4 of the KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH. WHEREAS, ALASKA STATE HOUSING AUTHORITY has petitioned the KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH for the vacation of a portion of U.S. Survey No. 2537 B, including all public rights -of -way which lie within the following described area to be vacated: Beginning at a point from which centerline intersection of Alaska Street and Brooklyn Avenue as shown on said Survey No. 2537 B bears N. 04 10' 7" E., a distance of 249.11'; thence N. 52 36' E. a distance of 285.00'; thence N. 37 24' W. a distance of 19.00'; thence N. 52 36' E., a distance of 11.00'; thence N. 37 24' W., a distance of 209.50';' thence S. 53° 30' 7" W., a distance of 296.04'; thence S. 37 24' E., a distance of 233.16' to the point of beginning, and, has petitioned that said area be replatted as "NEW KODIAK SUBDIVISION ", Block Four (4), with the dedication to the pub- lic of easements as shown on the replat of said area and, WHEREAS, pursuant to said Petition, a public hearing was held on Thursday, April 7th of 1966, at seven - thirty o'clock p.m. at which time all persons interested could be heard and public I hearing having been held pursuant to said Petition. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY that that portion of U.S. Survey No. 2537 B, inclu ing all public rights -of -way which lie within the followhg- describe area: Page One, RESOLUTION NUMBER 66 -10 -R be and the same is hereby vacated and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section Seven i of Ordinance No. 64 - that the above- described tract be and the same is hereby replatted as "New Kodiak Subdivision, Block Four (4)" and that the KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY accept all streets., alleys, easements and other open spaces dedicated to public purpose as set forth in said plat of New Kodiak Subdivision, Block Four (4) PASSED AND APPROVED this seventh day of April, 1966.
