KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
RESOLUTION NUMBER 66 -7
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 64 -2 of the KODIAK ISLAND BOR-
OUGH provides for the assessment, levy and collection of taxes in
the KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH and for equalization hearings after notice
that the assessment roll has been completed, and,
WHEREAS, the Borough Assessor is in the process of
having notices that the assessment roll has been completed printed,:
and in such notices must state when and where the equalization hear-
ings will be held and,
WHEREAS, the Borough Assessor has notified the KODIAK
ISLAND BOROUGH that he will have completed his assessment roll and
will be in the process of mailing his assessment notice and be pre-
pared to publish his notice that the assessment roll has been mnple-
ted by April 10, 1966,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of
Equalization of the KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH shall assemble and meet
for the purpose of equalization4earings on Tuesday, the 10th day of
May, 1966, at seventhirty of clock p.m. in the District Magistratets
courtroom, Donnelly Building, Kodiak, Alaska, and that the Assessor
shall cause notice that the assessment rolls have been completed
to be published in the Kodiak Mirror, a newspaper of general circ-
ulation published in the Kodiak Island Borough,at least once each
week for two (2) successive weeks prior to that date, stating that.
the assessment rolls have been completed and stating when and where
the equalization hearings will be held.
