Senior Citizens Resolution- Exten'er Care Facility. Mrs. Kavanaugh read the communications. This item was discussed with Item VIII A- Progress Report on 'HIosnital from Michael Sharon. Dr. Emmick read letter dated October 31, 1978 from Michael Sharon of Cole, Hartig, rhodes, ?orman g Mahoney regarding the legal status of the Extended Care Facility. e xhibits were also presented from Neal S Co. and Pit. It was pointed out that life safety problems a are in working condition and are waiting inspection and certifica- tion. This should be done the week of =!ovember 13th and, although not complete, this should allow occupancy by the end of November. Neal & Co. acknowledge'' improper installation of the roofing repairs cannot be made until May 1979 because of inclement weather until that time. Remaining rock work, et cetera will be contracted out with :Leal to bear the cost. Mr. Sharon stated it is anticinated this legal matter will be set for trial in the summer or fall of 1979. The borough is doing everything possible complete the project and at the same time protect the taxpayers from needless expenses. The assembly asked that arrangements be made for them to meet with the architects and inspectors at the hospital during the week of November 13th.
