I CALL TO ORDER
The Joint Borough Assembly /City Council meeting was
called to order by Mayor Tom Frost.
II ROLL CALL

Mr. Ross Wood, Borough Chairman
Mr. Dennis Nelson
Mr. Howard Anderson
Mrs. Betty Wallin
Mr. Fred Brechan (late arrival)
III NEW BUSINESS
A. Swearing of Borough Assemblywoman - Mrs. Wallin
was sworn in by Mrs.: Holt, Borough Clerk as
Borough Assemblywoman.
B. Resolution Number 73 -33 -R - A Resolution opposing
a State of Alaska Plan granting exlusive right to the
State of Alaska to levy ad valorem taxes on Oil and
Gas Real Properties within organized Boroughs in the
State of Alaska - Mr. Nelson moved for adoption of
Resolution 73 -33 -R of the Kodiak Island Borough.
Seconded by Mr. Powell. Motion passed by unanimous
roll call vote. The same was done by the City Council.
IV ADJOURNMENT
Mr. Powell moved for adjournment. The meeting was
adjounned at 7:10 p.m.
