KIB EMERGENCY- ASSEMBLY MEETING
OCTOBER 2, 1972
CALL TO ORDER
A quorum being present the meeting was called to order
by the Presiding Officer, Mr. Sutliff, at 5:10 P.M.;
in the Borough Office.

PRESENT ABSENT
Mr. Sutliff, Presiding Officer Mr. White, Borough
Mr. Clowse Chairman
Mr. Sims Mr. Arndt
Mr. Brechan
Also present were Roy Madsen, Borough Attorney, Libby
Presnall, and Mrs. Flora Reid, League of Women Voters.
III PURPOSE OF MEETING
Due to bad weather, the Acting Borough Clerk would
possibly not be able to be present at tomorrows upcoming
election; and being that Mr. White, Borough Chairman was
out of town at the time, it was necessary for the Assembly
to appoint an Acting Borough Clerk for the election.
Mr. Sims had called Mr. Madsen on this meeting, and
Mr. Madsen stated that we were semi -legal on holding
the meeting. %lip notices were posted publicly before
the meeting.
Mr. Sims noted that we give special thanks to Mr. Russell
Walker and Mrs. Flora Reid for helping out during
the Borough Clerk's absence.
Mr. Brechan moved that Libby Presnall be appointed
Acting Borough Clerk, with the stipulation that if
Norma Holt should return she would resume her duties.
Seconded by Mr. Clowse. Question was called for and
Motion was passed by unanimous roll call vote.
IV ADJOUNMENT
The meeting was adjouned at 5:3 P.M.
