SPECIAL MEETING - SEPTEMBER 24, 1971

The meeting was called to order by Presiding Officer Norman Sutliff
at 3:00 P.M. in the Borough Offices, Donnelley Building, Kodiak,
Alaska.

III PURPOSE OF MEETING
A. Ratification of Election Judges Mr Sims moved for ratification
of the election judges as presented, seconded by Mr. Arndt. Mr. Jackson
asked for some discussion and suggested that there should be four
judges at Fast Elementary and only three in Ouzinkie as that precinct
does not have the activity that we do in the Precinct at East Elementary.
Mr. Walker noted that an alternate judge Mrs. Betty Lorensen had not
been listed but should have appeared on the list as she will be giving
assistance dug the counting and during lunch and dinner hours.
Mr. Sims added to his motion to include Mrs. Lorensen's name to the
list of judges as an alternate, approved by his second. The question
eas called tor animation passed by unanimous roll call vote.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:10 P.M.
