The meeting was held at 7:30 p.m. in the Magistrate's Courtroom, Donnelley
Building, Kodiak, Alaska, for the purpose of discussing disaster planning
with members of the Alaska Disaster Office, and civil defense with members
of the University of Alaska Civil Defense Education organization.

Disaster planning and civil defense were discussed, and Col. Turner presented a
copy of a model ordinance which the Borough could adopt to create a local
civil defense organization.
