The meeting was callod to order at 7:55 p.m. in the Courtroom by Presiding
Officer Russell WHght.

nce Requests:
A. Kr,1 ' --1 -1 41 letter and Rev. Childs to speak. A letter from
Robert L. Chil/s, Kodiak Health and Welfare Council was read
corcerning the c7.;rs-3 by thom for the Borough to assume powers in the health
fiold ard L TI : Rev. Childs also spoke regarding availability
cf funds. A discussion was held. Chairman Powell suggested a three man
connittoe to st' this. Further discussion was held Assemblyman Brechan agreed
that a t'Iroe msa committee should be appointed to study this and report back
to the Accom'.-ly. Ghaiman Powell said he would be glad to serve with Rev.
Childs L also Assemblyman Perez will serve with them.

Letter roforrirg to selection of lands in USS 3465 was read. This land
selection had beon approved.
V Hearings, Orin anoos, and Resolutions:

A. Ordin-nee R'o Ordinance 65-6, reclassification of a portion
of USS 13:S kne::a Ls Baranof had its first reading. Notice of
public hearing on this Ordinance was also read. A discussion was held.
Assemblyman White moved for approval of first reading of Ordinance 65-6.
Sccendod by Assomblynan Brechan. Passed unanimously on roll call vote.
B. Rfor 7poation of Plat of Baranof Heights Sub, Block 1. Resolution
65-19 was rood. Assemblyman Perez moved that Resolution 65-19 be approved
as read. Seconded by Assemblyman Brechan and passed unanimously on roll call
vote.
C. Repolution 65-20, J;"nr!S E71mever final plat. Resolution 65-20 was read.
Assemblyman White moved for approval of ResOlution'65,-20 read. Seconded by
Assemblyman Perez and passed unanimously on roll call vote.

D. Resolution 65 -21, Vacation of unnamed alley, Carpenters Local No. 2162.
Resolution 65 -21 was read. Assemblyman White moved for approval of 65 -21
as read. Seconded by Assemblyman Perez and passed unanimously on roll
call vote.
E. Resolution 65 -22� reaityina School Bond Election. Resolution 65 -22 was read.
Assemblyman Drechan moved Resolution 65 -22 be approved as read. Seconded
by Assemblyman White, and passed unanimously on roll call vote.
Certification from Hugh J. Wade, Secretary of State was read.
VI Minutes of Boards and Commissions: 9/22/65 and 10/ -'65
Letter from Peter and Mary Larionoff referred from Planning and Zoning was read.
A discussion was held. Assemblyman White moved that Borough Office write a letter
to T.T. Jackson requesting he take the necessary action to have the building
vacated and moved to a site other than the road and request his cooperation.
Motion was unanimously accepted.
Minutes of Planning and Zoning 9/22/65 and 10/6/65 were accepted as presented.
A member of the audience spoke on the above letter. Assemblyman White said that
if Mr. Jackson is not able to accomplish the removal of the building, then the
Assembly will have to take further action.
